At Holidaybreakz.ca, we aim to make your booking experience simple, transparent, and hassle-free. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, changes, and refunds are handled when you book travel services with us.


1. General Overview
  • All bookings made through Holidaybreakz.ca are subject to the fare rules, terms, and conditions of the airline or travel supplier.
  • Our Holidaybreakz.ca Service Fees may apply in addition to any airline or supplier charges. Please review our Fees & Policies page for complete details.
  • Refund eligibility depends on the type of ticket purchased, airline fare rules, and the timing of your request.

2. Cancellations

Same-Day Cancellations

  • Within 4 hours of booking (and before midnight local time):
    Most reservations can be cancelled free of charge.
  • After 4 hours but before midnight (same day):
    A Holidaybreakz.ca cancellation fee may apply.

Cancellations After 24 Hours

  • Airline fare rules will apply.
  • Holidaybreakz.ca Service Fees may also apply depending on the nature of the cancellation.

3. Refunds
  • Many airline tickets are non-refundable, especially discounted or promotional fares.
  • Refunds are only available if permitted by the airline’s fare rules.
  • Once the airline or travel supplier approves a refund, it will be issued back to the original form of payment.
  • Holidaybreakz.ca Service Fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • If a booking is considered a “no-show” (when a passenger does not board a scheduled flight), airlines generally do not allow refunds.

4. Future Travel Credits
  • When a full refund is not permitted, airlines may offer Future Travel Credits (FTCs).
  • Travel credits:
    • Are governed solely by the airline’s rules and expiration policies.
    • May have restrictions or blackout dates.
  • Holidaybreakz.ca will assist you in redeeming airline-issued credits for future travel bookings.
5. Ticket Changes & Exchanges
  • Changes to an existing booking are allowed only if the airline permits it.
  • Change fees may include:
    • Airline change penalties
    • Any fare difference
    • Holidaybreakz.ca Service Fees
  • Some promotional, basic economy, or restricted fares do not allow changes.
6. Special Circumstances

Airlines may occasionally issue exceptions or waivers for:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Bereavement situations
  • Natural disasters
  • Weather-related disruptions
  • Government-issued travel restrictions

Holidaybreakz.ca will assist in submitting such requests, but final approval is at the airline’s sole discretion.


7. Processing Timelines
  • Refund processing may take 7–30 business days, or longer, depending on the airline and payment provider.
  • You will receive email notifications once:
  1. Your refund request is submitted, and
  2. The airline or supplier processes it.

  • The final price displayed at checkout includes:
    • All service fees
    • Taxes
    • Airline charges
